Hosted Demo Environment
The cloud demo environment is a working AIC system that AIC hosts in Microsoft Azure. It is free.
- Available right away. After a Sales Engineer (SE) sends you the access information, you sign in with a web browser.
- No prerequisites. You do not install software or prepare a server.
Using the Hosted Demo Environment
- Do not use it for production. It is not a production system.
- Do not enter classified data. Never type, paste, or upload classified information.
- Use sample data only. Do not enter Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), real passwords, or other sensitive data from your organization.
On-Premises Evaluation
The on-site evaluation lets you install AIC software on your own systems and use it for 30 days.
- Runs in your environment. Install it on your own servers or virtual machines, including air-gapped networks. For a customer-hosted cloud evaluation, use the Microsoft Azure evaluation option.
- You prepare the prerequisites. Before you install, you set up a host that meets the requirements the Sales Engineer sends you. See Deployment, hosting, and identity integrations for the operating systems and virtual environments AIC supports.
- Your own systems and identities. You can connect the evaluation to your own systems and directory, under your organization's own data rules.
Choose the on-site evaluation when you need to test AIC inside your own network, such as on an air-gapped network or against systems the cloud demo environment cannot reach.
